Because you can keep a tab on each other and motivate yourselves to do better and not give up!
Get Rid of Junk
The first step of clean eating is to erase any scope of temptation. This means you need to check everything that’s in your fridge, pantry and cupboards. All your secret stashes must also go. The one key thing you need to remove from the things in your kitchen are foods that are unhealthy, high in refined sugar and of course those you know that fall in the junk food category. If you continue to have food that will tempt you into switching back to an unhealthy lifestyle, it must go. If you feel like the food’s expiration is nowhere near, you can donate it, if you like.
Replace Sugar
Instead of fructose, fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, or cane sugar, opt for raw honey, coconut sugar and maple syrup. The first few are types of sugar that are unhealthy for your body, while the later options are definitely way healthier.
What to Buy at The Supermarket
Choose to buy fruits and vegetables from organic farms, instead of packaged food. Whole foods are good for your system, depending on the kind of diet you follow you can choose from seafood, meat, eggs, dairy and so on. If you see anything that has refined sugar, try to avoid buying it in the first place. Remember to always read the labels of the things you buy.
Meal Prep
If you want to beat temptation, be prepared. Take some time during the day to prepare healthy meals and snacks, so you never have to reach out to that pack of chips if you are super hungry. You can take this a step further and prep meals for the week, like chicken that is ready to be grilled whenever you like. Or you can prepare something healthy and freeze it, whenever you are looking for a quick meal, you defrost and heat it!
